Review of GreenWorks 25022, one of the best electric lawn mowers

GreenWorks 25022, a personal reviewThis is a personal review of  GreenWorks 25022, a great electric mower to buy. Really, a great choice, plenty of power for a small price, a mower for small to medium yards. It has a 12 Amp engine, more than enough to get the job done in time and to cut the tough stuff, a 20″ Steel 3-In-1 cutting deck that allows you to bag, mulch, or use side discharge. It comes with included grass collection bag and mulch plug.

One thing that the mower doesn’t come with is the extension cord that you need to buy yourself in order to use it, since mower’s cord is only 10 or 12 inches in length. Regarding the cord that you need to buy, if your yard is less than 40 feet, go with a 16-gauge extension cord, otherwise you can go with a 14-gauge cord (in both cases use one that is outdoor rated).

GreenWorks 25022  has a single lever (on the right side) for adjusting the cutting height to one of the 7 positions (from 1 1/2″ to 3 3/4″), uneven wheels (7 inch front wheels and 10 inch rear wheels, all made of plastic). When you buy a GreenWorks 25022 mower, you need to sharpen the blade since the factory provided blade is dull and not that useful.

This baby weighs about 56 pounds, kind of heavy for a single person (actually the manual shows 2 persons lifting it). One of the things GreenWorks is proud of is the fact that the entire product line releases zero carbon emission into the air, that’s something to mention, in a world where 800 million gallons of gas are used each year by Americans mowing their lawn and another 17 million gallons of gas are spilled when refilling! Now, you see why GreenWorks is proud of not affecting the environment.

GreenWorks 25022 has a huge number of positive reviews on Amazon!

Indeed, one of the best things about GreenWorks 25022 electric lawn mower is the number of positive reviews it has on Amazon, from all kind of people, from youngsters to women over 70, all saying how good this mower really is, how fast it can mows and how user friendly it is. Now, considering the fact that this electric mower costs only $229 at full price (and you can get it with huge discounts on Amazon a lot of times), I would say it’s a real catch. Think about it! 450 people rating it so high can not be wrong! It’s a quiet mower, easy to start and easy to use, easy to handle and maintain. Because it’s an electric mower, it won’t need all the maintenance a gas powered mower would require and this makes things a lot easier! Mulching or rear bagging, the mower works perfectly, like a regular, well, vacuum cleaner, it is really that easy to use it.

See below a few video reviews I have found on YouTube that I watched myself, in order to fully understand

The mower is made in China, not USA, but hey, nowadays everything is and we can tell you the quality is great, so nothing to argue here. One thing that I have never mentioned is the folding handle that makes storing or carrying really easy. Also, the warranty that GreenWorks offers is great: 4 years, twice the warranty of other brands, actually twice the industry standards!

As a short conclusion, what I wanted to point in this review of GreenWorks 25022 is that this electric lawn mower is a great catch, providing you all the power and technical features you need in order to easily mow your lawn so, if you’re looking for the next or the best push mower, well, you might have just found it!
